This is a fantastic case that I ordered 2 ½ years ago. No one has even come close to matching the style and performance this case has. Unfortunately like anything that has thin metal or plastic components it will eventually failed as such as the case for this I/O panel. I needed to replace the I/O panel because of the 2.0 USB plastic contact feed broke-off on the top USB port and now the lower USB won’t stay in-place or connected any type of devices. Hopefully this replacement will solve the problem. The only grip that I have is that I only need the I/O panel and not the whole top Panel assembly …well you know what I mean. Maybe one day Cooler Master will sell just the I/O board and not the whole giant size panel with it. It’s still a fantastic case regardless

This is an excellent product but wish Cooler Master would consider selling the I/O boards instead but as of now they only sell the I/O board with the long top mounted fan assembly unit with the I/O unit. My 2.0 USB port broke and I needed a replacement because the upper mounted USB port started falling apart without the bottom USB port. This totally sucks because it is dependent upon the bottom port for use and the other components just fall out of the top port when plugging in a USB device

I recently tried to use my front USB 2.0 on the I/O board and it failed. Just like the user below, I ordered this part because I generally use my USB ports daily and with one out of commission it’s kind of a challenge to use the other USB port and now its falling apart as well. I should've order a spare I/O board a long time ago as a backup. At any rate, it’s ordered and it will do just fine. Just wish Cooler Master sold only the I/O board and not the entire Top panel assembly with the I/O component. Maybe their new design for the HAF X series will have a two-piece system that's more convenient for future cases. "JUST SAY'IN"

I ordered this panel to replace the panel that I damaged. The I/O panel has been updated with current connectors, much improved. Price was very reasonable considering the components that were included. Very pleased with the updated version.

This was ordered as a replacement cover so that the USB 3 connections were available. The panel was a good fit and the price was very reasonable. Good Job Coolermaster and thanks.
Especially noticeable was the many follow up responses from Coolermaster during the ordering process to ensure a smooth transaction. Thanks!!

The old I/O worked great but it became brittle after several years of use. The old I/O port for the USB 2.0 failed and it came apart and I needed a replacement I/O board because I've use the front panel so much for diagnostic purposes and/or external connections for other devices. My only complaint is that you must order the whole top cover assembly just to get the I/O board when I only need is a replacement I/O board which took several weeks of waiting because of back-order. I don't need the top cover grill or the front facing which is a waste. Maybe I should order another just encase this happened again...NOT!!!

I received the replacement panel very fast, by the time I got the email that it was shipped, it was already out for delivery. The panel was obviously a newer version than the one I had to replace due to shorting out issues, because it had a wire for a ground (which is a bit too short) and an actual connector for USB 3.0 instead of two long blue cables. I got everything hooked up fine and everything works perfect.

I own an original HAF-X with the USB 3.0 header that had 2 long cables that you routed through the back of the case to the rear USB 3.0 ports. It was a work-around at best.
This is a nice upgrade. I am building a new X79 rig and the MOBO has the USB 3.0 header so it just make sense to go ahead and replace the old unit.
The replacement top and header assembly came quickly and was well packaged.

I have owned a Haf X case for 2 years now, and I love it. I did however break the usb front header on my case and damaged a usb 3 wire inside. This is an exact replacement to your original equipment. In case you have ever damaged your Haf x case top, this is a very inexpensive way to restore your Haf X to new condition.
